TCGs & Loop
First we'll start out with what a TCG is.
TCG stands for
Trading
Card
Game.
A TCG is a game where you collect cards from different sets, and trade them for other cards. A better
way for me to describe this is Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and baseball cards. You would collect cards from different
sets (such as EX Unseen Forces, Magic Ruler or the Yankees). If you had a double, or didn't really want a
particular card, you would trade it away for something you did want. Basically, this is the same exact thing,
except it's online, and you don't need to pay real money for these cards! Instead, in an online TCG, you
play games to earn cards, trade them with other members, and can exchange coupons for cards.
Now, a bit about
Loop.
Loop is a TCG focusing on the beautiful openings and endings of anime
series. The name came up in a discussion about this TCG over at the Moonlight Legend forums. Crazi came up with
the name, mentioning how openings and endings form a loop. Plus, it's just a really cool name! It stuck, and here
we are today.
Cards
The most important part of a trading card game are of course, the cards! There are three different types of decks
here at
Loop: openings, endings, and special puzzles. There are also two different types of deck worths:
cards in the opening and ending decks are worth
one, and cards in the special puzzle decks are worth
two. This is important, as it helps determine levels, card rarity, and trade value. On this note, when trading
cards, you must have a trade of equal worth (for example, you can trade two regular cards for one special card). Below
are some examples of the different cards (please do not take them!):
You can earn cards from many different things, such as games, contests, leveling up, and the occasional update freebie.
When you join the TCG, you will receive three cards from your collecting deck, five random regular cards, and one random special
card to get you started.
Levels
Following up cards are levels! Like mentioned before, levels are determined by your card
worth.
Since I'm uncreative, levels here will go by numbers. Check the chart below to see the requirements to reach each level:

Coupons
An easy way to earn cards is through coupons. Coupons are given out as rewards in games and contests. There are two different
types of coupons: choice regular, and choice special. Below are the different coupons that you will find throughout the TCG (please do not take them!):
